Back in 1997 we could never have imagined how far Positive Solutions would go in such a short time. In other parts of this website you can see what amazing strides we have made in a decade - just in terms of IFA partners it is astonishing. Yet we shouldn't have been that surprised because from the outset we knew there were a lot of like-minded professionals out there. Finance professionals who liked the idea of being part of a go-ahead set-up yet wanted to maintain their independence. Basically, people who, like us, wanted to be altogether individual.
What helped us in the early days is that we had a clear vision. We felt that too many potential clients were not receiving the service or the choice that they deserved. In short, impartial advice was something that wasn't something that was readily available in the marketplace. Too many financial advisers - whether they liked it or not - were in the business of selling a range of products from a single source. In other words, no choice at all. We wanted to buck the trend.
To say that what we offer has been embraced by a growing number of clients is a matter of record. We have put real decision-making back into their hands, guided by real experts armed with the knowledge and technology to ensure the best results and the most attractive returns. What we have also done is allow IFAs to no longer work in a financial straightjacket. Positive Solutions has given them the freedom to succeed too. And there's no reason why history shouldn't repeat itself over the next decade.
